Scholar Stories

Sabrina Henke, the second in her family to become a Page Scholar, was inspired by the example of her sister and is enthusiastic about the volunteering component of the Page Scholarship. Sabrina is attending the University of Minnesota where she intends to study Business Management, with the dream of someday opening her own hair salon. In the meantime she is excited to begin her service as a tutor and a mentor to younger students. "It makes me happy knowing that I can motivate students to become people they never thought they could. I would like them to look beyond the boundaries that life has set up for them, I want them to see that they live in a big world and are capable of doing anything they want."
