Get Involved!

The Page Education Foundation invites you to get involved! There are many ways to become an active member of our community.

Programs

Senior Mentor Program:
Become a mentor to a Page Scholar. Senior Mentors encourage college students in their Service-to-Children projects, their own post-secondary studies, and just life in general. eMentors are also needed to offer support to Page Scholars over the internet.

African American Male Recruitment Initiative Team (AAMRI): This initiative was started in 2003 to encourage high school young men who are African American to think seriously about post-secondary education. Team members visit high schools in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul metro area, introducing young men to the Page Education Foundation and its programs. Team members also encourage young men who are already Page Scholars to continue their education and service to children.

Committees

Selection Committee: Every May, we seek community volunteers to help select the new group of Page Scholars. Meetings are held in Minneapolis.

Fundraising Event Planning Committee: Special fundraising events are a fun way to support the Page Education Foundation. If you enjoy social interaction and event planning, this is an important activity that may fit your needs – and help raise money for the Foundation.

Activities

Donate: Page Education Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization. We rely on financial contributions of individuals and corporations to support Page Scholars and their work in our community. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation online or by mail. Increase your gift if your company matches charitable donations. In addition, you can also donate a car. Please consider remembering the Page Education Foundation in your will or estate plan.

Advocate: The Page Education Foundation wishes to reach students in all communities in Minnesota. Advocates are needed to connect Page students and staff to high schools and community service organizations.

General Office Volunteer: The Page Education Foundation has a need for volunteers to assist staff with the wide variety of activities of the organization. If you have office skills and wish to use them to help young people, this is a great opportunity!
