Service-to-Children Project: Teaching assistant with grades 1-3 at Raising Savior Lutheran School
Working as a teaching assistant with young students at Raising Savior Lutheran School, Joe Nuah has been fortunate enough to develop a bond with his students while learning something new about himself in the process. Through his experience as a Page scholar Joe has developed leadership and inter-personal skills that he knows will serve him later in life. Joe currently studies pre-engineering at Bethany College with the intention of finishing his BA in civil engineering at the University of Minnesota. “Working with the kids has always been a good experience for me. I always learn new things about myself in the sense that I realized I can be a role model.”
