Summer Jackson hopes to pursue her passion of writing through a career in journalism. What being a Page Scholar has given her is the desire to someday share her knowledge and experiences in the classroom as a teacher. She feels so proud to be a part of an organization that gives back to the community – it has had a lasting impact on her life. “I developed a connection with all of the students in the class and was very sad to leave. I never thought I could become so attached in such a short amount of time. They say college is all about figuring out what to do with your life. I know my service has caused me to re-evaluate my studies.”
