Service-to-Children Project: New scholar - will be starting service in the fall
Susana Murillo has exhibited an enduring passion for education and service throughout her life. As a first generation college student, Susana knows first-hand the difficulties some people face in attaining a good education, and is committed not only to achieving her goals, but to helping others achieve theirs as well. Currently a student at the University of Minnesota where she studies marketing, Susana is already showing entrepreneurial initiative in formulating the foundations of her own graphic design business while at the same time, continuing to embody an ethic of community service. “Eventually when I am in an economically stable position in my life, I would like to start a scholarship, in my community, for students who have the drive to go to college, but don’t have the money to do so.”
