Apply to be a Page Education Scholar
Apply to be a Page Education Scholar to receive a monetary scholarship for post-educational studies and be a role-model to youth through the Service-to-Children Project.
How to Apply
To apply for a Page Education Grant – whether new or returning – you must submit an application by May 1 of each year. If selected, you would then receive your scholarship for the upcoming school year. Awards consist of annual grants that range in value from $1,000 to $2,500. Recipients must reapply each year they attend post-secondary school and will receive subsequent grants based on their academic progress and mentoring performance.
To be eligible for a Page Grant you must be:
- A student of color
- A graduate of a Minnesota high school
- Enrolled full-time in a post-secondary educational institution in Minnesota
- Willing to complete a minimum of 50 hours for a Service-to-Children project
You may download an application packet on the right that includes the application form as well as a checklist of the other materials you must include with your application. All of your application materials must be postmarked by May 1 in order to be eligible for a Page Grant.
The Page Education Foundation selection committee chooses grant recipients based on a submitted essay, letters of recommendation, a willingness to complete the Service-to-Children requirement, and financial need. You will be notified by June 5 about the status of your application.
Please contact the Foundation at 612-332-0406 or if you have any questions.
