To apply for a Page Grant, whether new or returning, you must submit an application by May 1 of each year. If selected, you would receive a scholarship for the upcoming school year.
Awards consist of annual grants that range in value from $1,000 to $2,500. Recipients must reapply each year they attend post-secondary school and will receive subsequent grants based on their academic progress and mentoring performance.
To be eligible for a Page Grant, you must be:
- A student of color and graduate of a Minnesota high school.
- Enrolled full-time at an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the state of Minnesota during the 2018-2019 academic year.
- Maintain full-time status throughout the 2017-2018 academic year in order to remain eligible.
- Willing to complete a minimum of 50 volunteer hours tutoring children in grades K-8th per academic year awarded the grant.

You may download an application packet that includes the application form as well as a checklist of the other materials you must include with your application. All of your application materials must be postmarked by May 1, 2018 in order to be eligible for a Page Grant.
The Page Education Foundation selection committee chooses grant recipients based on a submitted essay, letters of recommendation, a willingness to complete the Service to Children requirement and financial need.
